Pro.Chefs is looking for a chef to work in Nanyuki in the capacity of a Sous Chef.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a Sous Chef, your responsibilities will be to:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Assist in menu preparation and design.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Create high-quality dishes with a focus on both aesthetics and taste.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ensure kitchen operations meet quality and timeliness standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Assume the role of the Executive Chef when necessary to plan and direct food preparation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Effectively resolve issues and take control of problematic situations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Manage inventory by ordering supplies as needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Enforce sanitation and safety regulations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maintain a positive and professional demeanour with colleagues and customers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Requirements and Skills:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Over 5 years of experience as a chef.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Minimum of 2 years in an administrative chef role.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Proficiency in international cuisines and various cooking methods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Strong kitchen and staff management skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Familiarity with industry best practices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Competency in using various computer software programs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Culinary arts diploma\/degree.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Relevant certifications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
